Offline

Gallery Les Bois launches with Offline, a group exhibition exploring the tension between digital saturation, environmental fragility, and human displacement.

At its core is Volcan's Offline series, first shown at the 60th Venice Biennale as the Refugee Remembrance Wall-haunting portraits marked by the incomplete "charging circle," symbolising stalled lives and lost identities. Alongside, Volcan's Roadworks transforms urban debris into warnings of infrastructural and social collapse.

Works by Steve Foster, Oliver Tanay, Miranda Carter, and Jasmine Pradissitto deepen the show's sustainable and socially engaged focus-reimagining waste, pollution, and fragility through reclaimed materials and ecological processes.

Offline is both a disconnection from speed and a reconnection with what's at risk: memory, material, and meaning.
