Sienna Martz’s Intertwined I is a circular textile relief made from second-hand clothing, bamboo fabric and organic kapok fibre, secured with non-solvent adhesive and mounted on a birch panel finished with linseed oil and eco-friendly paint. Padded bands cross and branch through coral, terracotta, peach, cream and beige forms, creating a tactile network of enclosed and open shapes. At 64 cm across and 5 cm deep, the work combines sculptural relief with textile softness while foregrounding repurposed clothing and carefully selected materials.
