On 6 November 2025, Gallery Les Bois attended the Sustainable Times RISE Awards at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Central London, joining more than 400 founders, investors and sustainability professionals for an evening celebrating innovation and leadership within the sustainability sector.
The event brought together a broad network of businesses and organisations working across climate technology, environmental innovation and sustainable enterprise. Gallery Les Bois attended in support of co-founder Claire-Julia Hill, who was shortlisted for the prestigious Founder of the Year award in recognition of her work developing Gallery Les Bois as a platform for sustainable contemporary art.
Alongside the dinner and awards ceremony, Gallery Les Bois curated a selection of contemporary artworks for display throughout the evening. Works by Sienna Martz, Steve Foster, Caitlin Heffernan, John Sabraw and Julian Emsley introduced guests to a diverse range of environmentally conscious artistic practices, highlighting the growing intersection between sustainability, culture and contemporary collecting.
The exhibition reflected Gallery Les Bois' ongoing mission to demonstrate that sustainable art can be aesthetically powerful, conceptually sophisticated and commercially significant. Throughout the evening, guests engaged with the artworks and discussions surrounding material innovation, environmental responsibility and the evolving role of sustainability within the wider creative industries.
Particular attention was drawn to the contrast and dialogue between the exhibiting artists' practices - from atmospheric abstraction and large-scale floral realism to materially experimental and process-driven works. The setting of the Grand Connaught Rooms provided an elegant backdrop for conversations connecting art, sustainability and future-focused business leadership.
For Gallery Les Bois, the evening represented an important opportunity to bring sustainable contemporary art into conversation with leaders across finance, innovation and environmental enterprise. Events such as the RISE Awards continue to demonstrate the increasing cultural relevance of sustainability, not only within industry and technology, but also within contemporary art and collecting.
